My favorite part about DA2 is that it’s literally just the story as told by Varric. An author known to exaggerate and embellish. At times it’s ridiculous and unbelievable, and then there are times when he just says “and an evil tome sat on the table.”
I looked up the deleted post and the husband literally made fake websites and used homestuck lore from vriska’s name origin to trick his wife into thinking it was to do with her interest in astrology.
the appeal of buzzfeed unsolved is that it’s not just a wacky believer and a strait-laced skeptic bc the skeptic is much weirder as a person than the believer. obviously the classic scully/mulder dynamic is very entertaining but there’s just something about a man who firmly does not believe in ghosts but does believe that it’s ok to eat a pickle floating in a pond “if it’s fresh”
